'Moderate' outlook for Ethiopia's economy

Ethiopia is among the world's poorest countries. Despite that - or perhaps because of it - its economy has been expanding strongly since 2003, at an average of 10% per year. At the beginning of August, ratings agency Moody's gave Ethiopia a "moderate" outlook for its low debt burden and affordable interest payments. But it warned of the country's political risks and regional tensions.
