NATO 60th anniversary summit ends with new Danish secretary general

NATO has chosen Denmark’s prime minister as the alliance’s next secretary general, to replace Jaap de Hoop Scheffer this summer. Turkey dropped its objections after receiving “guarantees” from US President Barack Obama.
