NATO looks to boost drone defenses to counter Russia

NATO ministers meeting in Brussels say the alliance is testing new drone defenses on its eastern flank. They're designed to counter threats from Russia, after a series of drone incursions that NATO has linked to Moscow.

Russia's recent airspace violations over Estonia and drone incursions into Poland have heightened tensions with NATO. At an urgent meeting in Brussels, NATO pledged stronger air defenses, especially against drones.

Germany and the UK have reaffirmed their commitment to protecting NATO's eastern flank. Meanwhile, Ukraine remains vulnerable, with arms deliveries from Europe down over 40% since July.
