A real threat to Vladimir Putin. That's how commentators are describing Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny. So, who will win the Russian showdown? Guests: Steven Pifer (Fellow Robert Bosch Academy), Daria Sukharchuk (journalist), Alexander Rahr (analyst)

Daria Sukharchuk. A freelance reporter and presenter, born in Russia and based in Berlin, Daria says: "Navalny’s investigations and the attack on him have for the first time politicized many young people in Russia."

Alexander Rahr, expert on Russia and advisor to the energy giant Gazprom. He argues that: "Russian society can live with corruption. But, if the younger generation feel they're losing out, that could change quickly."

Steven Pifer – academic, analyst and former US ambassador – with a focus on Russia and much else besides – who says: "The West should push back against the worst of Russian misbehavior. But it should also leave the door open for dialogue."
