A documentary about civilian deaths in Gaza has sparked a political backlash in Israel after winning the Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival.

The film "Naza" alleges that the Israeli military systematically killed Palestinian civilians, accusations that Israeli officials strongly deny.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has condemned the filmmakers and threatened to revoke the citizenship of Israelis who he says defame the country's soldiers.
