#French President Nicolas Sarkozy has offered to host peace talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis in October. His offer comes after Israel rejected calls by the US, and ended its freeze on the building of Jewish settlements in the West Bank. Sarkozy has been holding talks in Paris wtih +++ LM-REIN +++ Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
