New Hope on the Nile - Egypt after Mubarak

The winds of change are blowing in Egypt. The people have drummed out the dictator and now cherish hopes of freedom and democracy.

They're debating with an openness rarely known in the Arab world before. A young Egyptian woman living in Berlin who took part in a pro-opposition Facebook group right from the start sets out for Cairo to get a firsthand look at the situation there. And what she sees is anything but stable. The former regime is still strong, and the danger of a counter-revolution still looms large.
