New port aims to boost Namibia's trade

For many African economies, infrastructure is a major stumbling block when it comes to driving up exports. A deep seaport can come in quite handy. In southern Africa, Cape Town and Durban are the main ports, dominating the market. But Namibia is now set to change that. Just a few weeks ago, the new port in Walvis Bay went into operation.
