New Tablet from Kenya

For many Africans, tablet computers are unaffordable. Now some Kenyan students have designed their own device. They want to compete with international corporations while improving education in schools.

Together with fellow students, Morris Mbetsa has developed a Kenyan tablet computer. Components still come from abroad, but they're assembled in a small workshop in Kenya. The devices are to be used to improve education for schoolchildren and students.
