Gaza health officials have reported that over 300 people have been killed since the US-brokered ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, as Israel and Hamas continue trading accusations of truce violations. Graphic content.

The Israeli strikes came as hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were returning home and international momentum on Gaza was building. On Monday, the UN Security Council approved a US-backed plan authorizing an international stabilization force for the territory.

Israel said it struck senior Hamas militants after an alleged attack, while Hamas accused it of fabricating pretexts to prolong the war.
