30 minutes before sunrise, visitors can head up the 86th floor observatory to watch the sun come up on the city that never sleeps. At $100 (about 90 euros), tickets for the ‘sunrise experience’ are about three times more expensive than tickets sold during standard opening hours.
Over 4 million people visit the Empire State Building in New York every year. One of the most famous skyscrapers in the world, it’s open from 8am to 2 am 365 days of the year. Starting in October, it’s now also open at sunrise.
