Nigeria toughens anti-gay laws

Worldwide many countries are moving to give same-sex couples equal legal rights to heterosexuals. But it's not a universal trend. The bill was passed by Nigerian lawmakers last May, and now president Goodluck Jonathan has signed it into law. Human rights activists are calling it the "Jail the Gays" act.
