Nokia plans to shut down its plant in the German city of Bochum - je 16.01.2008 18

The world's largest mobile phone maker, Nokia, plans to shut down its plant in the German city of Bochum by mid-year. The planned closure means some 23- hundred workers at the plant will be laid-off. The move will also affect local suppliers and other companies in the area contracted by Nokia.
