Olympic athletes will be given strict guidelines on what they can and cannot say to prevent them from violating Olympic rules on propaganda. International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge told reporters today that freedom of speech was a fundamental human right, but that guidelines would be issued. Politics and propaganda have dominated the run-up to the Beijing Games - and athletes are coming under increasing pressure to speak out on human rights issues.
