On the trail of human traffickers

Since 2015 at least 20,000 Nigerian women have fallen victim to human traffickers – nearly all of them from the same region, Edo State in southern Nigeria. Provincial capital Benin City has become the hub for this activity. For a long time the politicians just kept quiet about the problem.
