10/03/08March 10, 2008

Pakistan’s main opposition parties have agreed to form a coalition but couldn’t yet decide on a candidate as Prime Minister. The coalition pact is expected to further pose challenge to President Pervez Musharraf, particularly as the PPP’s leader Asif Zardari and PML( N) ‘s Nawaz Sharif have promised to re-instate judges dismissed by Musharraf in November.
