A group of Palestinian-German engineers and doctors in Germany are doing what they can to help the people of Gaza, gathering lifesaving aid and working to bring injured children to Germany.

As a fragile ceasefire holds in Gaza, a group of Palestinian-German engineers and doctors in Germany is mobilizing urgent humanitarian aid. Led by Khader Al Astal, who lost 50 family members in the war, the initiative is sending wheelchairs, medicines and medical equipment to support thousands of wounded civilians, including child amputees. Coordinating with the Palestinian Red Crescent, the team is also helping build clinics, and hopes to bring injured children to Germany for treatment.
