Palestinian statehood: UN to discuss two-state solution

The UK, Canada, Australia and Portugal have formally recognized a Palestinian state ahead of a major UN summit where world leaders will discuss a two-state solution. The conference marks a "significant momentous first step in a long, long process," international human rights lawyer Nomi Bar-Yaacov from the Geneva Centre for Security Policy told DW.
