Wednesday saw the climax of a two-day conference in Berlin that gathered together more than twenty winners of the Nobel Peace Prize for their annual World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates. Each year, the Nobel Peace Laureates honor a distinguished figure in the entertainment and arts community for their efforts in defending human rights and promoting world peace and solidarity. This year the award went to Scottish singer Annie Lennox.
