It´s going to be a sombre Sunday in Germany this weekend as people mark the 70th anniversary of what Germans call "Reichspogromnacht." In the English-speaking world, it´s known as Kristallnacht, the beginning of Nazi Germany´s systematic eradication of the Jews the night that saw Nazi thugs destroy thousands of Jewish businesses and synagogues in a coordinated wave of destruction that left 92 Jews dead. To get an idea of what it was like to live through that night, we caught up with a man who saw it with his own eyes.
