Norbert Denef was sexually abused by a Catholic clergyman while an altar boy. The abuse happened during the 1960s, but criminal charges could no longer be brought after a time period of 10 years had elapsed. Norbert Denef has been fighting for years for an extension to the statute of limitations on child molestation. He has now taken the case to the European Court of Human Rights.
