John Demjanjuk faces charges of aiding and abetting almost 30,000 cases of murder committed when he was a guard at Sobibor concentration camp in Poland. His trial is being held in Munich at the end of November. One of the joint plaintiffs is Kurt Gutmann. His mother and his older brother Hans were murdered in Sobibor. Gutmann is seriously ill, but he is mustering all his strength for the trial.
