Super Typhoon Fung-wong has left a trail of destruction in the Philippines, killing at least 8 people. More than 1.4 million have been displaced, hundreds of thousands are now sheltering in schools and community halls.

Super Typhoon Fung-wong has devastated the Philippines, slamming Aurora Province with waves as high as buildings and gale-force winds. Flash floods, storm surges, and landslides destroyed homes and crops, leaving communities submerged in mud. The storm struck just days after Typhoon Kalmaegi, compounding the crisis. Authorities are racing to restore power and deliver aid as residents rebuild amid widespread destruction.
