German prosecutors say a shootout near the Israeli consulate in Munich was an attempted terrorist attack. Police shot dead a man who opened fire near the building. Police say the suspect was an 18-year-old Austrian. The attack took place on the anniversary of the 1972 Munich Olympics terror attacks, in which 11 Israeli team members were killed.
