Pope Benedict the 16th has angered many Jews by reinstating a bishop who denies the full extent of the Nazi holocaust. British-born Richard Williamson is one of four bishops to be rehabilitated. They were consecrated over twenty years ago without the Vatican's permission by the ultra-conservative French archbishop Marcel Lefevre, and were therefore ex-communicated. In rehabilitating them, Pope Benedict says he hopes to heal a rift within the Catholic Church.
