On the day that Benazir Bhutto was buried in her ancestral home in the Pakistani province of Sindh, we take a look at her life and the events that led up to her assassination. In 1988, Benazir Bhutto became the first female Prime Minister of Pakistan - and the first woman ever to be Prime Minister of a Muslim country. And though her political career was plagued by accusations of corruption, Bhutto was a defining force in Pakistan's democracy campaign.
