Portugal in mourning after Lisbon funicular crash

A funicular crash in Lisbon has killed at least 16 people. Authorities are still working to identify all the victims. The 140-year-old Elevador da Gloria has long been one of the city's most popular tourist attractions.

A tragic accident in Lisbon has claimed over a dozen lives after the historic Gloria funicular derailed and crashed into a building. Authorities are investigating the cause, while all funiculars in the city have been suspended for inspection. Prime Minister Luís Montenegro called the accident one of Portugal's greatest recent tragedies.
