Mexico is still under shock after last week a group of civilians searching for missing relatives uncovered a possible mass killing site in Mexico's Jalisco state. The site is possibly linked to Mexico's violent drug gangs.

 

The chilling discovery also raises questions about police failures to fully investigate the site after officials searched the area six months ago and found little evidence. Now Mexico's federal government has taken over the troubled investigation. More than 120.000 people are currently disappeared in Mexico according to the government’s tally
