Poznań is one of the oldest cities in Poland, and with a population of 600,000, the fifth largest. It’s steeped in history and lovingly maintains its architectural heritage. But it’s also home to a thriving design scene and is hoping to be named a European Capital of Culture in 2016. We visit a city that’s proud of its past and confident of its future.
