Premature babies - starting out right

Nearly one in ten of the world’s babies is born prematurely. According to the World Health Organization, “premies” are children who are born before the 37th week of pregnancy has been completed.

These infants’ bodies are not fully prepared for life “outside.” But with the help of neo-natal medicine, today many of these babies have good chances of leading a normal life.
