All the new models have a "sailing function", a revamped automatic start-stop system and optimized thermal management. Another key feature is a newly developed 3.6 liter, V6, bi-turbo engine. Analysts say it’s a sign that Porsche is serious about downsizing, because older Cayennes used to have a V8 under the hood. The smaller engine in the new Cayenne S can take the car to 100 kilometers an hour in just under 5.5 seconds. With mileage at just below 10 liters/100 kilometers it also uses a liter less of fuel than the old V8.
