US President George W. Bush has outlined the latest steps by HIS administration to revive the country's financial sector. Following the lead of European governments in recent days, the US will inject tens of Bbillions of dollars of capital into the country's biggest banks in return for shares. It's being seen as an extraordinary move by the Bush administration which has had, until now, a hands-off attitude towards the markets.
