With just eleven days to go until the elections, many Americans seem to have made up their minds - and are turning out en masse to cast early votes. The number of early birds has nearly doubled since the last election, with many Americans, especially in battleground states, wanting to avoid a repeat of the chaos that marred the 2004 election.
