The United Nations will organise an emergency summit on the Myanmar cyclone disaster in Asia, according to British PM Gordon Brown. The UN also intends to send a special envoy to Myanmar to strengthen disaster relief and persuade the military rulers to accept foreign assistance in the wake of Cyclone Nargis.
