Pulling out of Emerging Economies - Capital flight

It's every man for himself: investors are currently deserting the once so popular emerging economies. Fearing an economic downturn, they're pulling their capital out on a grand scale. That's sending many exchange rates in Asia, Africa and Latin America into a tailspin.

In addition to that, political crises, such as those in Turkey and Argentina, are hastening the sell-off. Experts are already warning of a downward spiral. In the countries that are affected, people are worrying about their future.
