Pumped storage power plant - Ecological energy depot in the Black Forest

Germany wants to massively expand the use of renewable energy. But that aim has its problems. When no wind blows and the sun isn’t shining, relying solely on renewable sources would mean power shortages. To prevent this, ways have to be found to store electricity. The most effective technology to date is pumped storage power plants.
