A purist roadster from Porsche, an ecological BMW, and Opel’s compact competitor to the Golf – Drive It! presents some exciting new models from Germany.

The new Porsche Boxster Spyder successfully fuses elements of classic sportscar and the track with cutting-edge design to achieve its own highly recognizable look. Two streamliners sweep back from the headrests along the rear. But the heart of the matter is the powerful 3.8 liter 276 kW naturally aspirated engine that propels the Spyder from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. Its handsome €80,000 starting price won’t buy air conditioning or even a radio. And the classic fabric top still has to be put up and down by hand. Plus even with a new dual-clutch transmission, the gears can only be changed by hand.
