Hendrik Bluhm spent ten years as a researcher at Harvard and Stanford universities before returning to Germany in 2011. He is now a professor of experimental physics at Aachen who specializes in developing the computer of the future - the quantum computer.

The technology is still in its infancy, but once it is fully developed, it will result in computers that are exponentially faster than those we have today. Tomorrow Today introduces the cutting-edge researcher. In 2011, Hendrik Bluhm won the Alfried Krupp Prize for Young University Teachers, which carries a purse of one million euros.
