US President Donald Trump's 20-point ceasefire plan lacks specifics on how Gaza will be rebuilt. The deal has allowed aid organizations to bring in food, but with winter approaching, the next steps toward providing shelter and restoring normal life remain unclear.

After two years of war in Gaza, the territory lies in ruins. An estimated 60 million tons of rubble lie where homes, hospitals, and schools once stood. With winter approaching, most Palestinian residents are living in tents, in dire conditions.

Rebuilding Gaza will be a monumental task, and no deal or agreement is currently in place on how to proceed. Clearing debris, securing emergency shelter, and restoring infrastructure could take more than a decade. The UN estimates that $70 billion will be needed, but financing and governance remain unresolved.
