Refugees getting help opening bank accounts in Germany

Opening a bank account is no easy task for many refugees arriving in Germany with no knowledge of the language or valid identity papers. A new EU law will require banks to offer basic payment accounts to all customers starting in September, but some German savings banks are already making it easy for refugees to open accounts.
