Remembering the Tsunami in Aceh

December 26, 2007

It's three years since a massive tsunami hit the Indian Ocean. An estimated 300,000 people were killed in a dozen countries, including Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand. Sombre ceremonies and mass prayers have been held all over the world. In Indonesia’s Aceh province, which was the worst affected by the tsunami, the governor called on the people to work together to rebuild the region.
