Reports: China is quietly fueling Russia's Ukraine war

China proclaims neutrality in the war, yet Ukrainian intelligence and multiple reports point to the country's covert involvement in Russia's war machines, including supplying drone engines, microchips and other critical components.

Though many countries have distanced themselves from Russia since its 2022 invasion of Ukraine, China has deepened its ties with the Kremlin. Despite US and EU sanctions on companies accused of aiding Russia's war effort, Chinese-made parts still surface on the battlefield.

Earlier this month, President Xi Jinping hosted Vladimir Putin in Beijing at a grand military parade, reaffirming Sino-Russian ties as a model of strategic cooperation with "no limits."
