September 18, 2025

Israelis and Palestinians are working together for peace. Despite the terrorism of Hamas, Israel's brutal war on Gaza, and violence against Palestinians in the West Bank, people on both sides are seeking reconciliation.

Whether in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, or Beit Jala, in Israeli kibbutzim or at Israeli army checkpoints, the personal stories in this documentary illustrate the profound tragedies being suffered by both Palestinians and Israelis.

The film follows those who belong to a minority that is campaigning for dialogue and reconciliation despite the situation. They know it is the only way to achieve lasting peace.

Yonatan Zeigen is the son of peace activist Vivian Silver, who was killed by Hamas in her home on October 7, 2023. He talks to Ahmed Helou, a Palestinian member of Combatants for Peace, a grassroots movement bringing together former fighters from both sides in an effort to end the occupation and achieve equality and peace. More than 150 of Helou’s relatives in Gaza have been killed. Before joining the peace movement, he was himself a member of Hamas.

Reem Hjajara, founder of the Palestinian initiative Women of the Sun, talks to women about the anger they feel toward Israel. She says that only peace can bring security for their children, while tirelessly promoting dialogue between the two communities.

Ibrahim also opens up about his romantic relationship with a Jewish-Israeli woman.
