Tensions rise as Serbia faces unrest

After nine months of peaceful protests against the government in Serbia, ruling party supporters have also taken to the streets to counter the demonstrations, sparking clashes. Protesters accuse the government of staging violence and using the police for repression, while the authorities deny this, calling it a foreign-backed color revolution, and have vowed a firm response.
