Things were not always easy for Marian Vaduva growing up: He often faced discrimination at school. But he listened to his mother's advice and used the taunts as a motivation to work hard and succeed — which he did.

Now a successful software engineer, he knows that not only scholarships, but also mentoring, support and the right mindset, can make a big difference. 

He wants to inspire and encourage young people in the Romani community to fulfill their potential.
