Romanian startup shifts from civilian to military drones

As the war in Ukraine reshapes their business, two young Moldovan innovators who used to produce civilian unmanned aerial vehicles are gearing up to build military drones at scale in neighboring Romania.

What started out for Anton Danici and Ion Mocanu as a civilian drone business is now transforming into a defense-focused venture. 

As the war in Ukraine reshapes both demand and innovation, these two young entrepreneurs from Moldova are preparing to mass produce drones in neighboring Romania. 

With a modular factory and innovative drone assembly methods, they are getting ready to start mass producing military surveillance and interceptor drones that can meet the demands of any potential clients.
