They balance high above the streets - on roofs, scaffolding and building cranes - in pursuit not just of an adrenaline rush, but also of new pictures to post online. Most rooftoppers are aged between 18 and 28 - the so-called post-90s generation of socialist China, that’s grown up in relative prosperity. They’re more interested in fun and adventure than their parents ever were.
