Rosetta Mission - Status Report

A few weeks ago, the Rosetta spacecraft released the robot probe Philae on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Instead of anchoring itself on touchdown, the probe initially bounced a couple of times before settling in an awkward position. Despite its rocky landing, Philae did manage to transmit a variety of important data back to Earth via Rosetta.
