Russia has launched one of its largest air assaults in weeks on Ukraine, firing hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles in a 12-hour-long barrage. The strikes hit Kyiv and several regions, killing at least four and injuring many more. Despite the devastation, a military analyst tells DW that Ukraine's air defenses have made "amazing improvements" since the war began.
