Russia targets Ukraine's infrastructure with wave of strikes

As Ukrainians are heading for their fourth winter in wartime, Russia is again targeting Ukraine's power and heating grid. Strikes on residential areas were have killed civilians.

Russia launched one of its most intense overnight attacks in weeks, striking cities across Ukraine with drones and missiles. The assault targeted energy and military infrastructure but also hit residential areas, causing blackouts and civilian casualties. In Dnipro, a drone strike killed several people, including children. Similar damage was reported in Kharkiv and Kyiv. The attacks come as fighting intensifies near Pokrovsk.
